Effective Christianity

The Effective Christianity course is part of the Northside U Spiritual Growth track designed to help you grow in spiritual maturity as a committed follower of Jesus Christ. In this 8-week course, you’ll learn many of the spiritual disciplines that will help you develop a deeper relationship with God and cultivate the Christ-like character needed to effectively live a God-honoring life in these challenging times and to help lead others to do the same. Among the studies, you’ll first learn how to read and study the Bible towards a deeper understanding of the Word, how to simplify and slow down your life in order to hear more clearly from God, how to pray more effectively, and the true purpose of fellowship and servanthood. With this as the premise, we’ll turn towards what it means to share your faith with others. You’ll be placed in a table group to journey with others through this course and discuss weekly lessons. If you have others you want at your table, we can make that happen. In this course, you’ll read and discuss the book Celebration of Discipline: The Path to Spiritual Growth by Richard Foster.
