Northside Student Ministry, or, “NSM” for short is our student service for those in 6-12th grade. Our goal is to connect unconnected students to Jesus and to others around them. At NSM we truly believe that following Jesus is the better way to live, so everything we do points to that. We meet on Sunday evenings from 6-7:30p in the West Auditorium. All students have the opportunity to worship, learn and grow in community through small groups of the same grade and gender.
We encourage all of our students to be a part of the larger church by attending our main services and serving during the weekend as well. We believe in the next generation, and we hope to see you at NSM soon.
We often get asked, “how do I get connected to NSM?” You don’t have to sign up in advance. Just show up to the West Auditorium on a Sunday night. When you walk in, look for the banner that says “get connected” and one of our staff or volunteers will be available to welcome and help you.
For some, the greatest accomplishment may not be something you do, but someone you raise. At NSM, we understand the weight of parenting and want to help. We place a heavy emphasis on discipling in the home, and believe that there are six key characteristics to molding resilient disciples of Jesus: Know, See, Learn, Go, Take, and Discover. We have collected some resources specifically for parents, and also use Axis. Axis covers a multitude of topics that are front and center in the lives of students today: Minecraft, smartphones, anxiety, TikTok, identity, pornography, slang, Fortnite, and more.
