PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY
While you’re on the Northside Christian Church campus for a weekend service or event, photography and video recording may be in progress. Being on campus signifies your consent to your image being used by Northside. Here are a few things we want you to know about the photos and video we capture:
KIDSIDE ENVIRONMENTS
We occasionally have photographers in our Kidside environments. Signage will be posted at your child’s environment when you drop them off. We understand there are situations where a child’s identity needs to be protected. If you do not want your child’s image captured, let their room leader know and they’ll put a “no photo” wristband on them. This lets our photographers inconspicuously know to avoid capturing their image and our Communication Team know to delete any photos that depict a child with a “no photo” wristband. During the photo editing process, we remove children’s names from the security tags.
CARE MINISTRY ENVIRONMENT
We understand the nature of Care Ministry involves a certain level of anonymity. We’re sensitive in knowing privacy is paramount in recovery-based ministry. Our photographers do their best to capture the environments in such a way to protect the anonymity of our Care Ministry guests.
MAIN AUDITORIUM & LOBBY
We capture photos of people worshipping and connecting with each other before and after services. One of our goals is to avoid being a distraction and being as inconspicuous as possible. In our Main Auditorium, the best areas to avoid photography are the upper seatings areas on the far left and right and the area directly behind the audio/lighting booth.
If you have a concern about photography and videography, contact Shawn Prokes, Northside's Communication Pastor.
