Certification

Northside U certificates recognize the hard work, commitment, and successful completion of certain tracks or combinations of courses. Northside U is not an accredited institution or program, nor does offer college level degrees. T o receive credit for the completion of a course, a minimum 80% attendance is required. Certificates only certify completion, and do not qualify the recipient as an expert in a subject.

Northside U Ministry Certificate

This certificate represents the highest level of certificate offered, comparable to the previous Northside School of Ministry Certificate. Those who complete the full program will be recognized with a special graduate dinner and a presentation of the certificate.

To earn the Northside U Ministry Certificate, the following must be completed, in any order and in any timeframe:

  • Old Testament-Part 1, 2, & 3 (21 sessions total) - Bible track
  • New Testament-Part 1, 2, & 3 (18 sessions total) - Bible track
  • Leading Self (6 sessions) - Leadership Development track
  • Leading Others (8 sessions) - Leadership Development track
  • Leading Leaders (6 sessions) - Leadership Development track
  • Moving Toward Maturity (6 sessions) - Spiritual Growth track
  • Developing Holy Habits (4 sessions) - Spiritual Growth track
  • Aligning with Church Doctrine (7 sessions) - Spiritual Growth track
  • Exploring Personal Doctrine (5 sessions) - Spiritual Growth track
  • 100 hours of Ministry Service

Leadership Development Certificate

This certificate represents the successful completion of the Leadership Development track. The participant receives the Northside U Leadership Development Certificate on the last day of class for completing the following courses:

Spiritual Growth Certificate

This certificate represents the successful completion of the Spiritual Growth track. The participant receives the Northside U Spiritual Growth Certificate on the last day of class for completing the following courses:

Bible Certificate

This certificate represents the successful completion of the 6-part Bible track, including surveys of both OT and NT. The participant receives the Northside U Bible Certificate on the last day of class for completing the following courses:
