Developing Holy Habits
Jesus said those “those who hunger and thirst for righteousness will” (at some point) “be satisfied” (Matt 5:6). But how? This verse at once points to both a hungry and teachable heart, one longing for deep, satisfying transformation, and one dissatisfied with worldly ambitions and answers, a heart, in short, after God’s own heart. With this course we attempt to target four practices necessary for spiritual growth: entering into deep submission, practicing basic holy rhythms, learning how to confront the spiritual “wall,” and facilitating regular renewal. Along the way, we’ll take a hard look at how we can make prayer central to our lives and what it really means to read and study Scripture, as well as the fruit born of such devotion. If you are searching for ways to really connect with God - and stay connected - this course is for you!
