Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the NSM Team! NSM will be back on Sunday, January 5th at 6pm

Northside Student Ministry, or “NSM” for short, is our student service for those in 6th-12th grade. At NSM, we truly believe that following Jesus is the better way to live, so everything we do points to that. We desire for our students to know that they aren’t just the future of the church, but that they are the church now right where they are. At NSM we lead the way, we have fun, we dig deeper, and we grow together. We believe these values create resilient disciples.

Our NSM Middle and NSM High meet on Sunday evenings from 6:00-7:30 in separate environments on campus. All students have the opportunity to experience Jesus in a time of worship, learn about God’s word in age-specific sermons, and create meaningful, deeper relationships with their peers.
For some, the greatest accomplishment may not be something you do, but someone you raise. At NSM, we understand the weight of parenting and want to help. We place a heavy emphasis on discipling in the home, and believe that there are six key characteristics to molding resilient disciples of Jesus: Know, See, Learn, Go, Take, and Discover. We have collected some resources specifically for parents, and also use Axis. Axis covers a multitude of topics that are front and center in the lives of students today: Minecraft, smartphones, anxiety, TikTok, identity, pornography, slang, Fortnite, and more.

Every Sunday night, NSM High School students have the opportunity to attend an age-specific service with worship and teaching. From 6:00 to 7:30 pm, they are invited to join us in the Kidside Auditorium. Park or drop off at Door #2 (on the patio side of the church).

After the service, students can grow in a Christ-like community through small groups with peers of the same grade, school, and gender, led by committed adult leaders. Through teaching, small groups, and relationships with these leaders, our desire is for students to become more like Jesus each day and discover that following Him is the best way to live.

Our goal is for students to graduate high school as fully engaged participants in the church and see the world from a Biblical perspective. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.
Every Sunday night, NSM Middle School students will grow closer to God and others, experience genuine worship, and dive deeper into the teachings of Jesus and God’s Word. Students can expect to arrive to games and a time to hangout before jumping into our time of small groups. Our students are put into grade and gender specific small groups led by leaders who love and lead our students well. After some conversation in groups on the night's topic, students will head to a worship service where there will be praise and worship alongside a teaching from a passage of Scripture to help students learn to follow Jesus better. Our goal is for students to find a sense of belonging in our ministry and have a desire to follow Jesus and become more like Him.
