How do followers of Jesus navigate the toughness of life without sacrificing their commitment to the Lord? What does it take to become RESILIENT? Paul’s answer in 1 Timothy 4:8 is to start training, “Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.”

We are embarking on a six-week series focusing on the markers of a resilient follower of Jesus. In other words, we are going into a season of training. With physical training, you can get more out of it when you train with others, and the same idea applies to your spiritual training.

For the six weeks of the Resilient series, we want to invite you to try out a Life Group. Or, maybe you are interested in starting a group. Regardless, groups are one the best environments to connect and grow alongside others.

During Resilient, groups will follow along with a study designed to unpack what you are learning and help you develop spiritual habits. Proverbs 27:17 says it best: “As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.” Joining a group for this season will help you become a resilient follower of Jesus.

To learn more about joining or starting a group, connect with the Groups team in the lobby during the month of August. Or, you can start right now by clicking the button above. Looking forward to the training and community ahead!
