Carrie Murphy hails from Redding, California but has traveled America teaching and training others in the area of ministry to children, and has lived in five states before moving to Indiana in 2019. Carrie has degrees in Early Childhood Education and Biblical Studies, and has been a Children’s Pastor for 25 years. During her career, she has been on staff at a variety of churches both small and large, but most recently was at a mega sized, multisite church which was the 14th fastest growing church in America. She has been a professional puppeteer, as well as led the Children’s Theatre Department as the Education and Outreach Director for several performing arts centers. In addition to public speaking and curriculum writing, her skills include puppet building, set design, costume design and construction, painting murals, and organizing large events. She has been married to her husband Michael for 25 years and together they have two adult children, Molly and Zane. Carrie delights in bringing beauty and life to the people and environments around her. The words most people use in describing her are passionate and enthusiastic!
